Kujiranami loses his control in prison, and goes berserk, attacking all Tokyo. With SaitÅ and Aoshi being investigating Enishi’s island, Yahiko and a few policemen are the only ones try to confront him. All the officers are defeated by Kujiranami while Yahiko continues facing him despite his critical injures. Tsubame desperately asks help to Kenshin, but he still does not react. Another wanderer named Oibore, later revealed as Tomoe’s father, helps Kenshin to discover what he can do to pay for the murderers he committed. Kenshin then goes to fight Kujiranami, and manages to calm him. After Kujiranami allows the policemen to arrest him, Kenshin starts resting to heal his wounds in order to prepare to rescue Kaoru.
